Retired Plugins
Periodically we need to retire plugins. Reasons include:
- the plugin has become a security risk
- the plugin is malfunctioning and can’t be fixed
- the plugin is interfering with software on another site
- the plugin is slowing one or more sites down
- the original creator of the plugin has abandoned support for it, and the plugin does not work with a new version of WordPress
- we’re replacing it with a newer plugin that has the same features and works more efficiently
