Please join me in warmly welcoming our new Graduate Program Manager, Emily Laabs!

Emily comes to us from the College of Letters and Science here at UW where she was an undergraduate academic advisor for 5 years. Prior to that, she held various positions in higher education doing admissions and program coordination for a scholarship foundation. On a personal note, Emily lives in Oconomowoc with her husband and two rambunctious toddler boys, and they love exploring the outdoors as a family. She is excited to be joining us here in this new role!

In this new position, Emily will be the primary point of contact for graduate education, programming, advising, and support for all three academic departments in Russell Labs. You can view Emily’s contact and bio information on our Hub staff page.

Finally, please save the date for an informal meet and greet with Emily on Tuesday, October 18 from 10am – noon. This is an opportunity for folks to stop by Emily’s office (room 226 Russell Labs), introduce themselves, and chat.
