Campus has become aware there is an issue where requestors will submit an order from MDS, followed by a standard ShopUW+ order.
Unfortunately, MDS often gets left as the “Requesting Entity” and sends the order into the Workday void, rather than to the desired supplier.
Once the cart is submitted, MDS cannot be removed as the requesting entity–you must delete the requisition and start over.
If you or someone in your lab regularly orders items from MDS, please make sure to edit the cart details after each MDS order to remove MDS prior to beginning a ShopUW+ order. All non-MDS orders with MDS listed as the requesting entity will be sent back to the requestor for deletion and recreation.
