Dear Students,
Congratulations on wrapping up another term, and I hope you are enjoying the Summer break so far! Contrary to popular belief, most advisors do work over the summer and continue to provide a full array of student services. Even if you are not taking any summer classes, I am writing to remind you that I still hold drop-in hours during the Summer terms.
Note: Drop-ins during the Summer are held virtually on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30pm CST.
As a reminder, drop-ins are geared towards quick questions and conversations, and should last 15 minutes or less. If you have a bigger question or concern and need more time to talk, please continue to schedule regular full-length appointments in Starfish.
I ask that students reserve a drop-in slot day-of in Starfish to help me gauge the need to offer drop-ins each week. If nobody signs up by 1:30pm, I will assume drop-ins are not needed that week and may be cancelled on short notice.
