Dear Russell Labs Communities,
Allee here for another installment of the Regular Resources Reminder blog. A bit of positivity for this cold Tuesday morning:
Did you know UW-Madison students, faculty, and staff have free access to The New York Times Digital (NYTimes.com) through the UW-Madison Libraries? Yes, that’s right, including NYT Cooking and Games. No more annoying paywalls! Learn how to make a yummy recipe for your friends and loved ones, or take a 10-minute brain break to recharge with access to every single NYT crossword puzzle from the archives going back to the 1990’s. Research shows that workers are happier and more productive when they take small breaks throughout the day. These resources can also be accessed outside of scheduled work hours, of course.
Information on how to access NYT resources is outlined in this KnowledgeBase article from the UW Libraries: https://learn.library.wisc.edu/accessing-nytimes/
For additional information or help creating your account, use Ask a Librarian*.
Looking for more resources? Don’t forget the Student Services Resources page on the Hub website. For a comprehensive list of resources sorted by category, scope, and audience, download the latest version of the Resources Comparison Chart. Want to add a resource to the list or suggest an edit? Email me! The comparison chart is a living document made possible by community members like you.
Stay warm, cozy, and informed!
