What is your most memorable experience from this program?

Traveling to the coastal town Howth in Dublin county with friends I made on the program and participating in a seaside hike on Easter Sunday.

How did your identities impact your experience?

I felt welcomed in Ireland with respect to my LGBT Identity and found many other students with similar experiences. I would advise other students to participate in community building and social activities because it was a valuable experience to spend time with other students with similar identities.

How were your program academics similar or different from taking classes at UW-Madison?

My program classes were more lecture-based, and examinations were primarily written. At UW Madison, my courses have more discussions and active engagement with course material, and examinations are given in a variety of formats.
