Regular Resource Reminder: Mental Health Support

    Dear Communities of Russell Labs,

I hope everyone is finding the time to rest and recharge during this break between semesters. The beginning of a new year can be a time to re-set our goals and priorities. It can also be a stressful time of year for many, so I write to remind you of the many opportunities to find support both on and off-campus. Please see the attached information outlining available resources to support your mental health and well-being.

UW-Madison is a large campus with many resources available across audiences. With so many different resources, it can be challenging to navigate eligibility and to know where to go for what. For a comprehensive database of resources both on and off-campus, reference the Resources Comparison Chart Master Doc. This is a downloadable Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with information that is organized by scope, audience, and category. Keep an eye out for a video tutorial coming soon.

This information (and more!) is always available on the Student Services Resources page on the Russell Labs Hub website. Special thanks to Dixie Lang for helping me with ongoing web design and maintenance.

If you have questions about any of these resources, please feel free to reach out to me or another human services professional. We are here to listen, triage, and make referrals.

    Be well,
