Two Changes in the New System:
- Not everyone will have to certify payroll:
- If you are a current PI and have no federal awards, you will not have to certify payroll.
- If you get a federal award in the future, then you will have to certify payroll.
- You will certify payroll by federal projects, instead of by employees. The primary PI will certify everyone paid on the award.
